“You are always wondering if something is legitt.”
Legitt was born out of necessity when I found myself in a situation where I needed to secure a ballroom for an upcoming company event. Despite being in the perfect location, I was not able to sign any documents as I was away from my computer. In order to secure the room, I suggested to the venue manager that I would make a video stating my need for the room and negotiate in good faith. However, she refused, and I realized the need for a platform that could vouch for my intent.
That's when I came up with the idea for Legitt. While ideas are a dime a dozen, I knew that the potential customers I spoke with were surprised that no such service existed. This inspired me to start something that would make it easier to get a soft commitment, whether it be for a friend to return your money or a video verifiable testimonial for your restaurant. In a world where bad actors exist, whether it be online or in the real world, it’s natural to wonder if something is legitimate. With Legitt, we aim to alleviate the stress of wondering about the legitimacy of some things. It's clear that the need for a platform like Legitt exists in today's world.
With so many interactions happening online and in person, it's important to have a way to verify the legitimacy of commitments and agreements. Legitt aims to fill that gap, making it easier for people to trust each other and conduct business with peace of mind. Whether you need a soft commitment for an upcoming event or a testimonial for your business, Legitt is here to help.
